Called Ian McKellen 'Fruity'

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2521324/Sir-Ian-McKellan- hits-Homeland-star-Damian-Lewis-comments-regarding-fruity-actors-playi ng-wizards.html.

Lewis, whose own development as an international star has been aided by high profile TV roles in Band Of Brothers and, more recently, Homeland, alluded to 'fruity actors playing wizards' in an interview conducted with The Guardian in October.
At the time he revealed his initial concern about turning into ‘one of these slightly over-the-top, fruity actors who would have an illustrious career on stage, but wouldn't start getting any kind of film work until I was 50 and then start playing wizards.

It does make me lol when a minor TV actor, who will never have the fame and talent of someone like Ian McKellan. Decides to slag him of and his career.

Is this guy trying to dig his own grave?

To be honest, that now makes it over for me and Homeland. Once I can no longer separate the actor from their being a real life *beep* I just can't watch anymore. C'est la vie.

Casey: I say she's a very nice person.
Dan: I say she has no reflection.

That's awesome, the left hate people who speak out like that. Many will be "offended". Good.

McKellen is an overrated old fruit. Yeah he has the millage, that's why people respect him, but his acting is pretty ordinary. Damian Lewis on the hand, wow, one of the best actors I've seen in a long time.

You haven't seen many of Lewis' films then. You should watch him in Band of Brothers, then follow it up with The Forsyte Saga - you will see the dichotomy of 2 characters played by the same actor. Also he is very charismatic & intense/captivating on screen.
