Was "The Silent Storm" in Wide Release in the U.K.?

This film seems to have just withered in some distributor's keeping, and then vanished. Has any American IMDB board member seen it? Does anyone know if such a thing as "wide release" exists in the U.K.? Why would a film featuring a star as admired as Lewis be allowed to literally disappear?

It's available to stream on ITunes. I just saw it. Damian Lewis fans won't care for the character he plays in the film, but for ITunes to post a Rottentomato review (in the "More") subsection, saying he should wipe this role off his "CV"--it's just wrong.

As usual, he invests himself in the character he plays. I watched the rental again and think that anyone impressed by his Soames Forsyte will get a repeat performance of the same slightly deranged, self-obsessed character in "The Silent Storm." Unlike Soames, his Reverend McNeil is not a wealthy man, but an alcoholic religious zealot.
