I think he'll make a pathetic Bond. Idris Elba would be a better Bond than this guy.
Henry Cavill would be the ideal Bond - suave, boyish charm like Roger Moore with self deprecating humor and wise cracks, all delivered with a side grin while holding a vodka martini, shaken not stirred.

i would rather see a black bond than a ginger bond. I don't think Damian Lewis has the Bond 'look,' its not that he is ugly, but I don't think he is handsome enough to play bond, he doesn't have the suave or rugged look to him. I really hope Henry Cavill will be the next bond, I know he was passed up for Craig because he was considered too young at the time of Casino Royale, but once it comes time to replacing Craig, I love him, but is getting older, I think Cavill just has that look to him, he looks like a James Bond.

Sorry, but hes just too old. I like him in Homeland, but hes far from a superbest actor you would expect for a Bond movie. I really hope these rumours aren't true!

I agree but they will screw this up and give it to a black guy for one movie and it will be a box office smash, why ? because people will run to see a black bond, the movie will suck but because it makes lots of money they will do a 2nd and it will bomb. Then they will get nobody because who would want to follow that.
