I LOVED her on One Life to Live. I have never seen any actress--TV or film--who could cry more convincingly. It was just amazing; red eyes and nose, streaming tears, and even a runny nose! Since her character was always in a mess, she cried a LOT, but it never ceased to amaze me!

sharehi, shoover. i realize you posted this over 6 yrs ago, so you prob won't see this, but I was on here to see if she was going to be on the last episode of OLTL -- it's on right this minute. And it sucks, that's why i wanted to know if she was on or not.
Just as I was remembering her Karen Wolek, which is the only reason why i watched this abortion, I was picturing her, 20lbs heavier, all in the right places, still looking beautiful while she's CRYING... then i see your post!
I don't think i've ever seen anyone but her look so beautiful while crying. And it wasn't a "Ooooh, Roooooob...!", schticky phoney crying-for-laughs, or a very light, gentle, lady-like sniff and a lone glycerin tear running down her cheek. This was a "I'm at the end of my rope, my life truly sucks", quivery lip, 2 wet and red eyes crying like people in r/t do kind of cry. I mean, her life truly S U C K E D, so anyone would bawl like that.
You see, she was married to the handsome DOCTOR, Larry Wolek, with whom she loved and was having a wonderful life, that is, till her old pimp, MARCO, found her and blackmailed her into working for him again... Hence, the TEARS...
Oh, boy did she and Marco have the best scenes together! Screaming, crying, committing every kind of crime 2 people could commit. The man who played Marco was actually a pretty good actor, so those two really fed off each other. Luke and Laura had nothing on them. Not even close.
Looks like there won't be one final visit with Karen again. JL probably thought, how could I top that!
