reply

Yeah so what? He's fat so obviously he's a dumb lazy conservative. Course its probably just a "glandular" problem. He used to be slim and trim when he was liberal.

reply

I hope everyone in this thread realizes there is a monumental difference between conservative and what is called in America, the Republican party.

He is a strong advocate of gay marriage. He was raised by two lesbians. Truth.

reply

I see your point, but honestly I hold many conservative views as well as many liberal ones as well (including major support for LGBT rights)

Mostly off the top of my head. Some are obviious but I remember some because they suprised me. I thought the people would be the usual liberals, or apolitical: Jimmie Stewart, John Wayne, Kelsey Grammer, Adam Sandler, Victoria Jackson, Mel Gibson, Jon Voigt, Kirk Cameron, John Rhys-Davies, Arnold Schwartzennegar, Charlton Heston, Robert Duvall, James Caan, Danny Aillo, Jamie Farr, Sean Astin, Clint Eastwood, Charles Bronson, Chuck Norris, George Hamilton, Mickey Rooney, Rock Hudson, Dennis Hopper, Leslie Nielsen, Ethel Merman, Jackie Mason, Fred MacMurray, Ron Howard, Hal Holbrook, Jon Cryer, Joan Rivers, Paula Prenciss, Don Rickles, Johnny Carson,Ernest Borgnine, Lou Costello, John Travolta, Merve Griffith, Tipee Hendron, Ben Stein, Cindy Williams, Tom Berenger, Carolyne Jones, Helen Hayes, James Earl Jones, Margaret Hamilton, Michael Medved, Jimmie Walker, Walt Disney, Fess Parker, Drew Carey, Bob Newhart, Kurt Russell, Shirley Temple, Michael J Fox, Ginger Rodgers, Helen Hayes, Freddie Prinze, Joe Pesci, William Holden, Joslyn Smith, Jim Nabors, Lionel Hampton, Anita Louise, Sylvester Stallone, Dennis Hopper, Jim Belushi, Stephen Baldwin, Adam Baldwin, James Woods, Pat Boone, Chuck Conners, Gary Cooper, Rip Torn, Bing Crosby, Bruce Willis, Tom Sellick, Gary Senise.

How many did I miss? Misspell, typo? Double or triple post? Which ones am I wrong about? Maybe conservative actors are one in a thousand, but a lot probably keep their mouths shut because conservatism isn't popular in the business. Look up "Friends of Abe." It has 1,500 members.

It doesn't matter to me one way or the other. It's about whether they are good actors, or in some cases how extreme their views are. I don't like hearing extremists spout off.
