Did not deserve a Kennedy Center Honor

The guy may very well be great, but it was CLEARLY the woke culture and the overhype of Hamilton that brought on his getting a Kennedy Center Honor in 2018. Why? Because he had barely a decade in the entertainment biz of Broadway or TV. The KCH itself says the honors are for lifetime contributions. Damn near every previous honoree had been at it 25 to 30 years at least. This guy, at the time, had two true hits.

The criteria:

“The Kennedy Center Honors provide recognition to living individuals who throughout their lifetimes have made significant contributions to American culture through the performing arts.”

Dude should not have even been thought of for such an honor for another 12 to 15 years, if not more.

Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against him, I like him, but the media and the business has overhyped the guy and what he’s done thus far.
