shareThe average height of Irish men is reported to be from 5'7" to 5'10", so he's about average. Height is irrelevant to me, however, in my appreciation of Cillian.

My point is that he seems a lot taller the way they shoot his scenes, I was just surprised, that's all. Nothing against him, I remembered him from 'Girl with a Pearl Earring'.
And yes, Hollywood is full of big headed, short actors.

hes 5'9, isnt short or tall, but I guess he looks taller in Girl with Pearl Earings and On the Edge / Red Eye bc his co stars are shorter than he is, and he looks really short in Inception, Batman, bc his co stars are much taller than he is. I agree that hes super talented regardless the height, but I highly doubt that hes 5'6 either, he stood taller than Tim Roth and Jonathan Jackson ( who are around 5'7)
