I really hate the mind fuck that comes with the whole trans thing.

You're trans. Ok whatever. But the need to basically erase the previous person and tell everyone you're wrong if you ever acknowledge they exist/ed is wrong.

You're trans. It's not a big deal (unless you are in sports or claiming to be a pregnant male). So why not just have it included in the bio that he was born Ellen Page.

I WOULD AGREE...HOWEVER...THE INCLUSION OF THE PAST TENDS TO SPIRIT A LOT OF LESS THAN CARING FOLKS TO HOLD ONTO SAID PAST...LIKE SOMETHING OF A CONSTANTLY REFERENCED WEAPON....SHE IS A HE NOW...WHY NOT JUST SAY HE?...SO MUCH DRAMA SO A FEW CAN HOLD ONTO THEIR SUPPOSED "UPPERHANDS".
