On Her 15th Minute of Fame

Blessed obscurity and last-place finishes on Celebrity Jeopardy await.

From Yahoo:
So, which show is getting the axe next? Based on their weak premieres, the likeliest candidates seem to be Amy Poehler's "Parks and Recreation" and Jenna Elfman's new sitcom, "Accidentally on Purpose."

Oh man, it would kill me if P&R got cancelled. It's one of the best shows on TV. Did you see the hunting episode? Best episode of any show of all of 2009.

Prepare to die, I guess.

They're already shooting their third season. I don't think the poster above you has anything to worry about too soon.

I haven't seen P&R since the first season, but apparently it has gotten stronger in its second season...and yes, its ratings did rise to get a third season.

Grit It On. Christmas 2010.

I feel disappointed that I didn't find Parks until a week ago. It's a really good show, I had to catch up on season 1 at my local rental. I thought it started out a little flat but it has been great towards the end of season 1 and throughout season 2. My favourite episode has to be Practice Date. I would be peeved off if Parks didn't win at least an Emmy next year!

And Amy's career is still going strong, even tho you wrote this post in 2009.

BURN!!! :-P
