she died her hair blonde beacause....

i cannot believe the whole reason she switched hair colors in the first place was to be in that lifetime movie karla. i just finished watching it now and it is the creepiest thing i ever saw...very disturbing movie. i hate her hair blonde and to know that she di it to play a psychopath serial rapist karla homolka...is to me not a good career move. through the whokle movie i was like i want my donna pinciotti back!!

She did it not just for Karla but to "soften" her image. She is tall and has a deep voice , that coupled with the red hair she felt made her to intense. There is a trend in Hollywood and frankly blondes tend to do better for some reason. At anyrate she felt it was a good move work wise.

My own personal taste is she was gorgeous as a red head but is still stunning as a blond.

Nope. Complete fail as a blonde. Was among the hottest as a redhead. COMPLETE FAIL.

reply

I agree, epic FAIL. I don't think it did anything positive for her career.

I also adore the red but disagree about career move. I doubt she would have gotten October Road as a Red head.

Its true that blondes get more roles. Pretty much all the younger actresses go blond at some point and then change once they establish.

According to her bio *points to IMDB bio* She's a natural brunette and only dyed her hair red for 70s show in the first place. I'm pretty sure that's not sure.

I think she's hot despite her hair color and we should just stop talking about it because it's boring.

I'm not gonna talk smack because I think she's hot regardless. But I do prefer her redhead days. It seems more honest, and I guess that makes me a little old fashioned. Plus I like redheads. She's an amazing redhead. And "intense" doesn't frighten me.

I think she looks great as a redhead--but as a blonde, it kind of washes her out.
