The crowd was cheering and laughing the whole way. They did not like her. I'd never seen that reaction before or since.

She played a villain in the Die Hard movie. Would you expect the audience to try to rush the screen and save her?

I can really imagine all the people in the cinema cheering at the death of a character who is only in a few scenes.

Yes. Face it, Maggie Q's character--villain or not--was way too hot to die.
