i dont think she has a choice to give up. this will be her meal ticket from now on.

So you think that her only (or primary) motivation for fighting Scientology is money?

She, like many others who have left that cult, could've stayed silent. The Scientology organization actually WANTS her to keep quiet and "move on" to focus on something else. She has chosen not to comply and, for that, I applaud her tenacious courage. If Leah dedicates the next 35 years to exposing/talking about Scientology's abuses towards families, human rights, and the justice system, then it would be time well spent.

And if Remini is your definition of a "failed" actress, then what on earth do you make of someone like Kirstie Alley and Jenna Elfman? They are more than a "decade removed from the peak of their career". At least Leah is working; the others (especially Jenna) are stagnant.

JRodFilms: I look forward to your review of the show(s) once they air.

So you're planning to watch the first episode tonight?

She made an estimated $20 mil from KOQ...she had a few small roles in a few movies, a reality show, a talk show, and I'm sure her royalties collected only have helped. I believe her motivation stems from the betrayal that everything she believed in most of her life was exposed to be a sham. If she needs the money now, it's because she invested so much into that "religion".

I agree. It does not look like she is continuing to speak out to remain relevant, and she especially doesn't need money.

It's not like she is on a one-woman crusade either. Many continue to speak out on this sickening cult. It's pretty lame to claim all are doing this s for fame and cash.

SO how long have you been a member of the church?
