I just now am finally watching BSG on DVD. What a great idea! Yes, she is a perfect Lara Croft. There aren't many female actors who could follow in Jolie's footsteps for this but I think she could do it. She could be her niece or I suppose her daughter.

Angelina Jolie is already the most perfect Lara Croft imagineable.

Not saying that Katee would have been a great choice, too, but I'm saying I dont like the idea to change this now.

Also, new Lara Croft movie ? Only if they finally manage to come up with a script thats worth to make it into a movie.

Especially I demand making Lara Croft a STRONG person. She's supposed to be a rich independent british lady and never has any man stories in any of the games whatsoever. So why do the movies transform her into an idiot who falls for the biggest *beep* on the planet ?

Why does America feel the need to change things so badly in film all the time

As I already said - doesnt really matter who does these movies, as long as the scripts are HORRIBLE TRASH I would simply prefer they arent made in the first place.

Word. Rhona Mitra was perfect for Tomb Raider. She's so awesome in Doomsday, she should have had a major role already. She would have made a great Catwoman as well.

Rhona Mitra WAS the original Tomb Raider model, so obviously would have been the perfect actress in the films. Obviously the producers didn't think so...... Casting Rhona would have made the films actually tie in properly with the original games.
