Excellent in Hemlock Grove

He's always been very interesting. Great performance in Behind Blue skies. I am also loving his performance of the troubled Roman in Netflix Hemlock Grove. He's a very versatile actor. I hope Hemlock Grove thrust him into more mainstream stuff. Though i am quite happy to just keep watching him in his other films he has made.

I can't tell if his character's supposed to have an accent or not...

Agreed, I'm from Sweden and the Skarsgårds are a pretty big deal seeing as how they're so big internationally. Haven't watched many of Bill's films but I was extremely impressed with his characterization in "I Rymden finns inga Känslor".

When I watched Hemlock Grove I had just found out a week or so in advance that he was in it and I must say that I was once again very impressed. His English is fantastic for not having done so many english-speaking jobs. I too hope he gets a tricky character arc in Grove, so he can show his true versatility. My gut tells me he might be a bit of a villain on the next season. Should be interesting, either way I think Hemlock Grove is the start of a long and prosperous career in Hollywood.

I'm from England. I have seen Bill work in his other films. He is especially good in Behind Blue Skies and Simple Simon. Sometimes over here we don't always get world cinema films. I tend to seek them out. I am glad he is a internationally star.

Hemlock Grove can only further his career hopefully into more mainstream stuff. You may well be right about his character on Hemlock Grove.

He's awful on Hemlock Grove. A very stilted, amateurish performance with no depth to it. He might get away with it if he had the charisma to pull this kind of role off. The other lead, Landon Liboiron is so much better and knows how to work with the weak material.

But Skarsgard definitely has time to develop his craft and considering he has not done many English roles, I think he will get better.
