To continue D_C's IMDb Kristen music video thread ...

The purpose of this thread is two fold.

First, I want to see if I can make a link clickable using what 9 and LL told me to do on LL's 'pre-Oscar pictures of Kristen' thread.

And second, to continue D_C's music video thread that he began at the end of the IMDb Message Board days with two songs that I have chosen for reasons that will be obvious when you see the titles of said songs.

Also, if I should make a mistake, I cannot in any way feel worse than Warren Beatty, Faye Dunaway and the entire Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences felt last night when they announced the wrong winner of Best Picture.

So here we go (wish me luck) ...
1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3b8btcCmL0c
2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ye-3d2QCz20

And now, it's time to hit the 'submit' button.

Edit: All Right!!! I am very happy to see that both links worked on my first try. Thank you 9 and LL for the tutorial!

Glad you learned how to make your links clickable Carved. On another forum which Ron and I have been checking out, (The Movie Database), making a link clickable is even easier than the former IMDb message boards, as all that is needed on this site is entering a valid URL address and it automatically becomes clickable. So I'm hoping Jim or whomever else is involved in the creation of this forum will tweak the algorithms that govern these message boards in a way that posting links will become much more user friendly.

The original theory I entertained with regard to the biggest blunder in the history of the Academy Awards ceremony was, half-jokingly, that the mistaken "winner" which Faye Dunaway announced, was a rigged AMPAS election winner, while the real winner of course was "Moonlight".

It makes some sense that the mixup occurred because there were two sets of envelopes, one stationed at each side of the stage, which could explain why Dunaway was given another Best Actress Oscar winner envelope despite the fact that Emma Stone had already won the statuette previously just moments beforehand. Some are putting the blame on PriceWaterhouseCoopers, the accounting firm in charge of tallying Oscar votes from AMPAS members. However, AMPAS was responsible for the design and the procurement of the envelops, so they could end up shouldering the blame if the confusion was a result of the Best Picture Oscar winner envelope containing the Best Actress Oscar card--although this does not seem to be the case since some insist that the envelop which Beatty handed to Dunaway read "Actress in a Leading Role".

And to put a hilarious spin on this incident, according to TMZ, a site whose articles I usually take with a grain of salt, Beatty and Dunaway reputedly argued over who would announce the winner for Best Picture. Beatty then supposedly yielded to Dunaway and let her announce the winner, which like you mentioned previously, wasn't the Best Picture Oscar winner.
