Life's kinda funny when 2 of your characters both die from a knife thrown into your back.

I've watched Lost since it started, and just saw the clip from The Tripper ("Kill of the Week #13") on YouTube, and it struck me as funny (as in odd), too.
If she ever hosted Saturday Night Live, they could end all the sketches she was in with her getting a knife in the back. Except for the last one, where she'd be refusing to turn her back, and still get nailed in some unexpected way. Then, at the end when all the cast members and musicians are there with her, they could all drop to the floor with knives in their backs, leaving her the only one standing.
When there is no more room in Hell, The Devil will reapply to the Zoning Commission.
