It'll be interesting to see what schemes they come up with to stifle the investigation, but I think Mueller has too much protection at this point for any of it to be effective. IDK, maybe I'm just being optimistic, but my guess is that Whitaker is there primarily to protect Trump's tax returns.

Whitaker shouldn't even be there. He has not been vetted or confirmed by senate. Rod Rosenstein should be acting AG. This is illegal and unconstitutional.

True, but it's Trump we're talking about. Anyone who swears their allegiance to him gets the job. Rosenstein hasn't been that guy.

When the House convenes in January they WILL fight and fight hard for those tax returns. They can also insulate Mueller, from what I've heard. Seems to me Trump may be in fight or flight mode and is desperately swiping while cornered.
