Between now and July 15, when the GOP convention kicks off in Milwaukee, presumptive Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump will pick a running mate. Oftentimes the vice presidential choice is not especially consequential; this time it is.

Trump can only serve one term. If you believe, like two-thirds of your fellow Americans, that the country is on the wrong track, you must agree that four years of Donald Trump will not suffice.

To fix our open border, restore law and order, unleash our domestic energy industries, bring federal spending under control and so much more, will take 8 to 12 years. That is what our nation needs and, with the help of his vice president, that is what Trump must deliver."

If you're talking about loyalty, True Loyalty, then his VP Pick will be none other than Don Jr. Don Jr would carry on the Trump Legacy much like the Bush Family did.. It's a very real possibility folks because every name listed, at one point or another has feuded with Trump, loyalty only goes so far??

Trump has certain requirements based upon cup size and loyalty to Trump, for his VP. Those attributes will do nothing to "fix our open border, restore law and order, unleash our domestic energy industries, bring federal spending under control and so much more".

Trump did nothing to fix the open border, nothing to restore law and order. and could not care less about our domestic industries. He allowed federal spending to increase 3 of the 4 years he was in office.

Super interesting for sure. I think it's the first time the VP ticket really matters. I have zero confidence in Trump to make the right decision here. Trump just wants to win. The presidency is a trophy and bragging rights. He don't care about changing the world or establishing a legacy. It was fun when he stomped Hillary but then that's all he talked about to this day. He's going to pick who will help him win, or make the election so fixed it will be undeniable to anybody this time around. He actually has the opportunity to truly establish a third party, or pull off fully remolding the Repubs into his MAGA brand but he's waaay too lacking in vision for such things. It's a shame, honestly. Imagine what a properly motivated man could do with such a rabid fanbase behind him. (He could get his head blown clean off!) That's mostly probably why nothing will ever change in our lifetimes.
