wow

I thought they only had films & tv shows here, but even actors are here as well!

I've been doing a Rudolph Valentino obsessive reading & youtube watching recently. I just watched yesterday both The Sheik and The Son of Sheik, enjoyed both tremendously!

It's funny, although I was warned that The Sheik would have caricaturish acting which apparently Valentino hated but was directed to do, it still took me by surprise. But not with the acting, I assumed there was to be a rape scene here as reviewed by an article I read but there was none. He clearly kidnapped the girl and forced his kisses on her but it didn't go farther than that. The rape scene/implication was on the latter sequel actually and it still surprised me. Because in the beginning, Ahmed, the son of Sheik was actually very romantic and wooing/courting the girl. The rape occurred as a revenge plot which I did not expect. I somehow assumed the character would be similar to The Sheik but would take things further. It's funny how hype and trails of heresay build a film's reputation and when you view it, it's actually different from what you were led to believe.
