while yes you can argue that he dosent make the nost GROUNDBREAKING FILM ever he generally makes some of the most well made movies today at least in my eyes

What are your guys thoughts on Dennis?

Agreed, He makes better movies than, let's say, Micheal Bay who directs only the kind of WAM BAM in your face movies....More deepness, meaning, etc

That really isn't very much praise, It doesn't take a whole lot to make better movies than Michael Bay

I find it extremely inappropriate to compare Denis and Bay. Their approach in filmmaking is too different.

That is a weak comparison. It doesn't do justice to Villeneuve. Uwe Boll has made better movies than Bay.
