She Didn't DO Anything in Django

I agree that she is overhyped, and I didn't think she was good in Django Unchained. A number of people think Scandal is a soap opera, but it has had a comeback after early stumbles, and she got nominated. For her to get good movie roles, directors are going to have to like her.

How do you figure Hollywood wants nothing to do with her? You're not her agent, you don't know what projects or what kind of people are lined up or may want to work with her.

SCANDAL severely limits how many films Kerry can star in. Her next film will not be released for at least another year and a half because of her SCANDAL shooting schedule.

I agree Tarantino could have used an unknown actress or a lesser known actress like Yaya Decosta or Nicole beharie for such a small part. But it did raise her profile and I doubt she cares about Hollywood at the moment. It wasn't Hollywood that got her a hit show and an Emmy nod.

Huh? SCANDAL is produced by Hollywood. Hollywood is films AND television.

Even so, you know what I mean in response to the OP. She doesn't have to care about Movie world when she has a hit program.

Well keep in mind a lot of her material was cut from the movie. I thought she did ok given what we saw. Yes Scandal is going to limit what she can do as far as movies are concerned. It'll be interesting to see how she handles that. Apparently Henry Ian left Scandal because producers prohibited him from tapping into other projects.
