i don't know, i think that, yes he would make a good james bond but what about eric bana. he has showd the wolrd what he could do in chopper. but dominic woulod be my first choice do.

Well, George Lazenby was Australian & he was an excellent Bond in 'Her Majesty's Secret Service' so maybe Bana would make a good Bond too? He was very good in 'Troy'. As for Lazenby ... just think, if he'd done more he could've saved us from Roger Moore! "OHMSS" is an excellent Bond movie, one of the few, if any, Bond movies that dared to be abit different ... check out the heartbreaking, downbeat ending if you've never seen it. Sadly, I don't think we'll see that type of Bond movie again ...

I was reading the James Bond 21 board and was thinking who could play bond that hasn't already been suggested. Some of the other actors listed are a joke.

Yes, some of the actors being suggested to play Bond are a joke, I'm thinking specifically of people like Jude Law, Ewan Mcgregor & Orlando Bloom. Hopefully, the actor who'll play Bond will be someone who people have heard of but isn't exactly well-known or mega-successful. I agree with you though, I think Pierce should do another one!

Actually, Ioan Gruffudd has been suggested and being considered pretty heavily, and I think he'd be a pretty damn good choice for the role myself. Dominic... I don't know, he just doesn't seem to have 'the look' for the part. Ioan is Welsh, VERY handsome, and he's not a very well known actor, at least not in the US. In the UK, though, he's pretty well known.

I'm not sure about Ioan Gruffudd, he looks like he could do with a few hot dinners inside him! He is becoming a very well-known actor in the UK & will become even more well-known in the US when 'Fantastic Four' is released I'm sure. Personally, I feel Brosnan is good for another one & it wouldn't surprise me if he came back & did the next one as nothing seems to be happening much regarding finding a 'new' Bond it's just rumour after rumour ... following Brosnan as Bond is a 'poisoned chalice' like Lazenby following Connery (even though Lazenby was very good in OHMSS) even more so perhaps? Maybe the next Bond movie will have a new Bond? If it underperforms as the box office I reckon Brosnan will be asked back ... although he may, by then, be starting to look a bit too old! Who knows?!?

Someone sad here that George lazenby played good as Bond? He was the worst Bond there ever have been!! Sean connery was best then Roger More and then pierce but George lazenbys bond was the worst bond ever been made. He just couldnt handel it being bond.
