When I was watching Shaft I thought to myself, this movie is *beep* Then came Peoples and that was it he saved this movie. He was great as Peoples, "this is egyptian cotton *beep*

I know this is a pretty late comment on the movie, but I just watched him in Broken Flowers, and he was again great in that. I have seen him in a multitude of movies and I am always glad to see him on the screen. I do believe that he is the most underated actor of our times, and deserves some sort of aknowledgement by his peers.

Peoples is one of my favourite movie personalities ive ever seen hands down this guy was a genuis in this movie!

Yup, Jeffrey was sick as Peoples and I knew he was the *beep* then. Even my Puerto Rican friends were amazed at how nails his accent and mannerisms were.

I knew I've seen him somewhere before when I watched Syriana. His acting is very convincing. I just realized that he's Peoples Hernandez in Shaft.

Yeah he was amazing! I just met him an hour ago, a down to earth guy, really friendly. I told him I loved him in Shaft, he laughed and said, "Thanks dude" nice fellow.

Shaft was a really hateful fascist *beep*hole for killing Peoples, that was clear. Wright was the only authentic blaxploitation character in that terrible movie.
