Will never surpass Jack Nicklaus's achievements now

It's kind of sad that Tiger will now probably have to settle for being remembered as the second best golfer in history.

His whole existence from a very young age has been pushed towards achieving the status of becoming the GOAT. But now that will never happen. He lies three majors short of Jack's record - a mark which at one point looked almost impossible to think he wouldn't surpass.

Yes, he had a great career, especially the explosive early part (and probably played some of the greatest golf we'll ever see) but it must be hard for him at this stage to have to face the fact that he'll never definitively be remembered as the best.

True, he will never win as many majors as Nicklaus, but i think all of us, in our most private thoughts, know that Tiger at his best would make a bitch out of The Golden Bear at his best. Where Jack Nicklaus excelled was choosing a wife. Jack chased strange just like every famous guy of his era, but sweet loyal Barbara Bash never paid it any mind, knowing that it was little more than jerking off for Jack. He likely didn't even bother to learn the names of most of those girls he was drilling. Where are the modern day Barbara Bashes? I would marry her today if I could find her.
