I think her TV movie The Girl helped her. She got nominated for a Golden Globe for that. But yeah shes been getting some high profile roles lately.
shareWho knew that American Sniper would be such a huge hit? I thought it would do well similar to Lone Survivor but it could end up being the highest grossing movie of 2014 in the US. It wouldn't shock me if it has the legs to make more than Guardians of the Galaxy.
shareShe is very, very good in American Sniper and has improved in leaps and bounds as an actress in recent years -- although she was great in The Girl and Factory Girl. And Layer Cake, so she's got a good track-record despite some opinions.

i've noticed that too. and all her upcoming films have big name celebs in them, so people will watch it for them and then notice sienna too. i'm glad its been going great for her and she can finally better her homewrecker image in hollywood.
