With Elizabeth Olsen

I don't think they have chemistry together.

But, I'm not talking about that, what bothers me is the couple appearing together in two movies: Godzilla and Avengers.
In one, they're twins, and in the other one, they're lovers.

I don't get it, seriously.

Like, wth? Is it some incest stuff? Loool.

reply

To be honest, in comics there was an incest relationship between them (Wanda and Pietro) at some point, if I am not mistaken.

But they look so different in these two movies (especially Aaron) so it does not bother me at all.

reply

Ok, thanks, I read that somewhere too.

And yeah they look different.

But sometimes it seemed like they were more than twins...

reply

I think Elizabeth mentioned it in an interview, that they knew of the twincest storyline from the comics, and put suggestive nuances in their performances, just as a creative decision they made themselves.

I agree there was zero chemistry, but she is incredibly beautiful. It would be very hard to not have chemistry with her. Perfect body, especially her voluptuous lips and and a nice youthful visage. Perky rack. Maybe he's gay? Wouldn't be the first closeted homosexual.

it's a 2 different movie ffs.

"I love films that make me react emotionally and physically when you walk out of the cinema."

reply

I know.
But this movie was like, a year before, and I think directors don't realise sometimes that once we have already seen two actors in a movie together, it's hard to "recreate" another kind of relationship for them (for their characters).

Am I the only one feeling this way?

I like to see an actor I've seen in a movie i've liked, but seeing him again with the same partner in a movie but a different storyline confuses me a lot.
Unless they look like they're so different you wouldn't recognize them, or if they barely have a scene together in a same movie.
