Does it seem likely Pietro will return at some point?

Agreed, I had this momentary high that they didn't kill Hawkeye which it all seemed to be leading up to, then immediately back down to earth with a bump when they killed Pietro instead.

To be honest I'm hoping the nice Korean lady who patched up Hawkeye at the start of the movie will be able to work wonders with her machine and we'll see Quicksilver again.

Don't really know if the spoiler tags are necessary but I haven't had a chance to play with them before so I'm playing safe :-)

Well, he signed a multi-picture deal with Marvel so yeah, I'm guessing he'll be returning at some point. Probably for Infinity Wars? Perhaps they use the Time Gem to save him or maybe Wanda's powers will come more into play?

Or it could be that he'll simply appear in flashback form or something like that? But yes, we will almost certainly be seeing Pietro on the screen again in another Avengers film.
