…actresses currently working in cinema. I have so far only seen her in a handful of films but she clearly has great range, fabulous comic timing and terrific dramatic chops too. She has two forthcoming movies which have been among the most rapturously-received at Cannes this year… Cannes best actress award forthcoming?
Hugely recommended: her deadpan lead in Toni Erdmann and her hilarious supporting role in Sibyl. A real scene-stealer.
