Next Bond?

What say you?

Not sure. Doesn't really have that dangerous look. But, with time, could be molded. Heck, Timothy Dalton was, to some degree, molded into appropriate form, when he had to replace Pierce Brosnan at the 11th hour. So anything is possible.

My vote, and I know Daniel Craig has mentioned him in the past as a nice replacement, would be for Idris Elba.

Mr. Elba has all the important traits Sir Connery possessed in the 60's that would be fitting for the role.

I think he'd make a perfect 007.

Mmmmm... I think James Bond is not for everyone... I've been a fan since Stardust and honestly I wouldn't really want him to play that role.
I'd prefer to see him in more psychological films, like playing a psychopath or an emotionally disturbed character. I'm just more into darker films  and Charlie seems to be on his best in darker roles ...

I can't see it, though I have loved everything he's done. He has those sad, brown, puppy dog eyes that make him appear innocent almost...too adorable for Bond. But I would probably watch it anyway.

He does very good playing a badass ninja brawler in Daredevil though. So who knows?

Yes, would be very good ad Bond!

I love your clint eastwood quote :)

I like Idris Elba, but he is getting a little too old to take it on. After all, the point is to find someone old enough to be believable, but at the same time young enough to be viable in the role for 10 or so years.
