Ben McKenzie would be a great Max Payne?

I was watching season 2 Episode 17 and thought Ben McKenzie might be able to pull of a Max Payne. I mean if some one not as stupid as the last director who made Max Payne would be make a movie that is more true to the game Ben could be a good fit to portray Max Payne. He looks still young so you could start with the first game . He has a pretty deep voice similar a bit to Max Payne from the game.
He looks like a good actor, looks good in a suit or jacket and can take up on darker themes.
Probably there are people who thought about this already in the forums but just wanted to know your ideas about this .

Granted he's almost 40, but he has a very youthful face. Only up to S02 E11 but with his past work and now seeing him as Gordon, I'd say he's got the voice and presence for a character like Max. By the time they're desperate enough to try another Max Payne movie I'd put him in the front of the pack, but thats just me. They'll probably go with someone terrible like all VG movies. I love Mark Wahlberg and Tim Olyphant, but they were terrible choices for Max and 47. advanced mocap and facial mapping is catching on now with Spacey in COD and "not silent hills" or whatever they'll calling Kojima's project with Norman Reedus. Maybe they'll go that route for the next title in the series?
