Queen of the Desert sells to IFC Films for US Market
If you may recall, QOTD had previously sold to another US distributor and then nothing happened.
Nada.
Zip.
Apparently there was some type of legal tussle happening behind the scenes. I guess they got back the rights to the film and now the film has found a home with IFC films. They are planning a Spring 2017 release of the film.
I'd expect the usual NY/LA day-and-date arrangement that IFC tends to do with this one.
