She worked two jobs and got through university. She probably didn't know how cool working in the entertainment industry is. Do you have any idea how many applied for the the Real World? Hundreds of thousands no doubt and probably a few million wouldn't mind given half the chance.

Your basically bagging the opportunities starring in the Real World opens up? A show that has hundreds of thousands of viewers? Exposure like that is worth hundreds of auditions, and your giving her crap that she actually wants to pursue an acting career? Which is actually interesting, easy, well payed work for those that can get it? And LOL, Zack Snyder's Sucker Punch is many things 'cheap trash' not being one of them.

I think you shoud change your post or delete it, because your just an envious loser.

someone sounds bitter. as far as i know, she is only one of two mildly successful actresses in the many RW seasons from '92 to now, and there have been a lot of aspiring actresses in the bunch. jamie obviously had something that the other wannabe-actress cast members didn't.

From an interview on youtube she says that she regrets not pursuing acting/showbiz when she was younger. That her family was very traditional so she did what was expected of her with college and stuff.

Its an old story that never gets old.

all I can really say is that I watched that season when she was on the real world and she barely got any airtime. I forgot she even lived there. When did she become someone? What got me is that a korean girl got cast as a thai woman. maybe because she looks like she's ten?

They purposely downplay her presence in favor of everyone else for obvious reasons. She knew it as well when she said in an interview.
