She was a fool to skip the coronation.

If she'd gone, and taken the trouble to look hurt whenever she and Harry were snubbed... nobody would be talking about anything else today! Seriously, if she'd gone, and been snubbed, and looked hurt, and shared sad puppy-eyed looks with Harry while people ignored them, all the talk today would be about whether that was evidence of racism and snobbery in royal circles, or whether they deserved to be snubbed. And Harry's book would have a jump in sales, and everyone would be paying attention to the Harkles, and that's exactly what their brand needs.

No, she really missed a golden opportunity, who the hell knows why.

It was Archie's birthday.

I'm no fan of H&M, but who was the fucking idiot that decided to schedule the coronation on the same day as one of their kids' birthdays? Did the coronation have to be on 6 May?

reply

Someone very shrewd.

reply

You are right, they could have scheduled it a week later. They scheduled the Jubilee around Lilibet's b day last year. Meg and Harry threw a b day party in England, but only a few royals showed up.

reply

They obviously didn't want her there.

reply

Why is it “bad” that the king’s coronation was on his grandson’s bday? It should be something to be proud of.

reply

I kinda thought it was cool to, but at the same time, bad planning since Harry would want to be with his son.

reply

Everyone else in the BRF who attended the coronation was with their families before and after the ceremony. This could have been a family event for them, but …….

reply

I think Charles may have been testing them. He's really trying to pull Harry back into royal duties.
