A letter to Chloe

Chloe,

I know the chances of you reading this are slim, and I know that this may end up getting drowned out by creepers and *beep* But on the off chance you do find this, I have only one thing to say:

I am so, so sorry.

I am sorry all the hard work you put into campaigning for Clinton turned out to be for nothing. I'm sorry that your message of unity and acceptance was drowned out by one of hatred and bigotry. I'm sorry that you've put in all this effort and cast your vote, and that you still couldn't break through. But, most importantly, I'm sorry you and your family now live in a country where you are no longer seen as equals or even as people. My heart breaks so hard for you and your mom and your brothers, and I cannot imagine the confusion and heartbreak you must be feeling.

Should you desire to exit the spotlight to protect your family, I will understand completely. And while Canada may not be ready to accept American immigrants just yet, I will welcome you and your family into Vancouver with open arms and can promise you that all of you will be safe there.

Sincerely,
A Fan

Why are you making it sound like she's going to be hunted down and killed like some wild animal? Women are not going to become second-class citizens or any of this other nonsense these paranoid people are "prophetizing" on Twitter and Facebook. Everybody is going to be fine. Chloe will be fine. Her family will be fine. Everything will be ALRIGHT.

P.S., nice, heartfelt letter there. No joke. It sounded very genuine. I think Chloe would be touched...provided you remove the expletive in the first paragraph. You're writing to Chloe, not Hit-Girl.

I hope she's okay, she hasn't tweeted yet. :(

Chloe is just fine, don't worry. LOL.

She has now, and she's taking it pretty well. I expected her to throw a tantrum and call us all a bunch of sexist pigs. But she handled this whole thing very well, I have to admit. I was SURE she'd be "live tweeting" the whole election coverage last night. Saying, "Hillary just won California", "Hillary just won Illinois", "come on, Hillary!" "Uh oh, Trump just won my home state of Georgia. He's gaining the lead. Come on, west coast, defeat him!" But miraculously, she stayed off Twitter all last night. I'm proud of the self control she exhibited and I'm especially proud of whoever advised her to avoid Twitter.

And for the record, I voted for Trump. Not just because I don't like Hillary, OR Chloe, but because I think it's time we needed somebody business-minded in the White House. But I live in a blue state, so of course these liberal pantywaists were going to elect that she-demon.

They are TWO idiots.
No one it's better than the other.
That's a fact.

Have you seen the protests going on? Clinton represents the left. The same left that has no whites allowed college retreats.

In the kingdom of the blind, you're the village idiot.

Yeah, those entitled sore-losers are blocking freeways and blocking roads. It is your right to protest, but it is NOT your right to block traffic.
And, once again, I'm proud of how Chloe is handling this. I expected her to live tweet the election on November 8 AND voice her disgust after the winner was announced, but she had the decent sense of mind to stay off social media. Impressive self control.

I'm not convinced trump is the great businessman he & his supporters seem to think he is.
