and I don't think any Republican really wanted the job. Republicans don't
like to work that hard ... look at Trump. Look at McCain's pick or Sarah
Palin. The Republicans did not want it.
She probably would have won, everyone was convinced that Bush f-cked it up and no Republican was ever going to win that year.

shareMcCain was a bad candidate, he suspended his campaign and refused to go after Obama and his history of corruption. McCain is an American Hero but a poor political candidate. Even Sarah Palin wanted to go after Obama and all of his scandals and she was told not to.
