Did not like him one bit as The Doctor...

at first then he won me over after only a few episodes and is probably my favorite. Excellent actor, brilliant Doctor. Sorry to see him go but it was a touching exit.

It took some time for him to win me over, too. The one scene where I finally accepted him was this one.

He won me over from the very beginning and made me come back to the show after 25 years.

Ah yes, agreed in every respect. I hated him when he was announced. By the end of The Eleventh Hour I loved him. The scene that truly cemented him as my favourite was his speech in The Rings of Akhaten. HIs last episode was really amazing and his exit was perfect and so sad. I loved his final monologue.

The way he says "I will always remember when the Doctor was me," and looks at the camera. Wouldn't normally like that kind of thing but Matt Smith makes it so heartwarming and brilliant.

He was a good Dr. Who. However, David Tennant will always be my favorite! Give me the doctor with the suit, maxi coat and gym shoes.

Although David Tennant is still my Doctor, he took a few episodes (until School Reunion) to convince me in the role. In regards to Matt, he convinced me from the first episode, The Eleventh Hour.

"Can I have an apple?"... that's all it took for me. Loved him from the beginning.

Christopher Eccleston was my favourite doctor. But Matt Smith has replaced him now. He's more comical and quirky in a quiet sort of way.
