I liked Tennant and Ecclesotn but Matt Smith brought the role to life for me. He will be missed and he is leaving at the perfect time, as his story is over and it is time to move on. Whoever gets the TARDIS next has some big shoes to fill.

While Tennant is my Doctor, I actually feel that Matt is leaving the role too soon. I was really hoping he stayed for 1 more series/season just to wrap up a Matt Smith era of 5 years. I also felt that at his young age, he could have stayed 2 more series before heading off to other projects to further his career.
I will gonna miss him dearly as the Doctor.
Matt is my first Doctor which I love,but Did go back and watch some of david's doctor he was good as well. I think know matter what happens you will always remember your first Doctor. I do agree with you the next Doctor better being it.
I will miss Matt Smith so much.:(
