No disrespect to Tom Baker but Matt Smith is in my opinion the best Doctor ever. You can tell he loves the role, the fans, and the cult following the show has. And he is also evolving as the 11th Doctor...his version of the Doctor is changing as time goes on, and I did not see that much, even with Tennant (Sorry David).
So I can deal with Matt being the Doctor for a few more years. I really think he is aware that he got cast in the role of a lifetime and is appreciative of that fact.

I think he'll leave after 2014.
I hope he gets a ton of new projects after Who.

If he leaves I will miss him. Whomever is cast as the next Doctor has some huge shoes to fill. or WHOever. Whomever.....whichever it is...bah...

I will too. But I think it's better for his well being if he leaves sooner, ya know
I was a huge Tennant fan at when I heard about Matt I thought he was gonna suck and that I'm gonna hate him, but he really delivered and, IMO, is better than Tennant.

Series 8 might be his last cos its a really hard job. Poor thing can't ever sleep

Heh it's all good. I would rather remember him on top instead of running his Doctor to the ground...
