What do you call 3000 smart kids in the Bronx?

The Bronx High School of Science. Ms. Siff's matriculation at that fine school presages her other academic accomplishments.

Given her superb stage presence and the quality of her work, it is a crime not to expand the complexity of her character in SOA. She deserves it and the show needs a better backstory than the physician who was the high school sweetheart of the MC founder's kid. Doctors are much more complex critters....

I couldn't agree with you more! She is completely underutilized based on both her actual talent as an actor, and who her character is on the show. Kurt seems to be opening up Tara a bit more this season, but it's still a pretty limiting role as he writes it. Good call on the Bronx H.S. of Science, not to mention Bryn Mawr, and Tisch. She has done nothing but go to, and excel at, outstanding educational institutions.
