I'm still not convinced she's English!

I've seen her in English roles and interviews, but her American accent on "Touch" sounds so natural, I'm not sure I believe she's really from England. :)

I'm just being silly, but wow, she's talented AND gorgeous.

Sounds like a personal problem, buddy. A beautiful woman is a beautiful woman to most hetero men.
As for her accent (as the OP was referring to); lots of Brits do American accents well. It seems to be easier for them than the other way around for some reason.

Check out any of the Doctor Who season 3 episodes she is in, definitely English.
