Encountered Debbie Harry at Canada's Wonderland back then too. That was a bit sad. She was in the lineup wearing a black wig. A camera crew -- I think it was MuchMusic -- was setting up next to her. When they were ready to go, she took off the wig and they started filming.
I guess the disguise was because they were expecting her to get mobbed when she revealed herself. She looked uncomfortable for a second or two... until nobody reacted. Then she sorta cringed. I remember some young teens staring at her blankly wondering who she was... this was about 15 years past Blondie's prime. I felt bad for her.
