She is still white even though she's Cuban. I wouldn't say it's a "ridiculous" choice. Seems like she'll put on a good performance and I think she actually looks like Marilyn Monroe.
Yup. Look at the stills. She looks very much like Monroe, plus she is a good actress. Biopics are a gamble though. For every Patton or Lawrence of Arabia, you get a Beyond the Sea or Elvis.
