Hated her on neighbours...

I couldn't stand her and was delighted when they got rid of her. And when I heard she'd been cast on Dollhouse I thought what the hell were they thinking, she's rubbish!!
But..I have to say I've been pleasently surprised by her. I don't know if it's a case of her improving between neighbours and dollhouse, or just that neighbours has a habbit of making people look bad?
She hasn't had much to do in dollhouse, but i'm hoping next season they explore her and victor a bit more, look into who they really are/

Well, Neighbours isn't exactly known for its quality. I remember one interview with Cate Blanchett about why she never tried out for Neighbours when she was first starting out, and she replied "Because I'm an actress!".

thats true I thought the writers for Neighbours were crap,Dichen is absolutely lovely and if you are in any doubt with her acting skills check her out in Dollhouse.She is amazing

Soaps will make even the best actors/actresses seem like c r a p.

Heath Ledger did Home and Away, he won an Oscar. Russel Crowe did Neighbours, he won an Oscar.

But then you have someone like Kim Valentine who leaves the show, then returns, leaves the show, then returns....

When it comes to the nuts and bolts of it all, it depends on the actors ability.
