Family Secret

My son is the carbon copy of his older cousin (there's 8 years difference) and my niece looks identical to what my daughter did when she was little. It's funny how genetics work :)

Well, if their family is going by the traditional western naming system, they are fraternal cousins.

So, perhaps it's the influence of the Y chromosome? I'm really not an expert in biology though, so if there's any biologists out there who want to correct me on that, please be kind! :)

My cousin and I could pass for twins, and we were born and raised in different continents, so no.

I'm two years older than my cousin and a female, and people always assume him and I are twins. We look so much alike. He's basically the male version of me lol

We have the same beauty mark spots on our cheeks and neck.

I have 3 cousins, that people steadily get my confused with or think were brothers. I'm talking long time friends of my cousins be getting us confused. Which makes is stranger is that one cousin is on my mothers side and 2 from my dads. Granted the one on my moms side, we get brothers for the most part.

If I didn't know they were related, I wouldn't have guessed they were from the same family to be honest. They look pretty different to me.
