shareDid anyone actually like Nomadland, though? I haven't seen it myself, but virtually every review I saw that isn't from one of those RT pundits, said it was mediocre. It feels like such a rarity now to see an Academy Award winner critics and audiences can universally agree on (Parasite, The Shape of Water, Birdman etc). Remember when the Academy used to award movies people actually like?
sharei liked it a fair bit, but i liked her earlier film 'the rider' a lot more. that's a truly great movie imo. highly recommended.
