Why do people like psychopaths? You wouldn't want to meet one in real life.

I would love to see a spin off

Alice!! That was her name! Im watching Th e Affair and her character's name is Allison. As soon as they said it, i just went "wait a minute, is this a Luther prequel?!" Now im kind of disappointed.

Won't happen. The affair has been renewed.

It's not that people like watching the textbook psychopath, they like seeing one that has a human side to them also. One being what you call the psychopath, to which I agree. However, they also have a very human side to them. Dexter in his relationship with his sister, his wife, son, etc. Alice in her relationship with Luther obviously. To further illustrate this point, Billy Bob Thornton's Karl Childers is still another. The true (to wit: non-Hollywood) psychopath would not have the positive side to them and would not be able to have positive relationships with any normal person.

But she needs a powerful opponent, like Luther, an actor with a great personality yo give her good replies.Then she looks brighter and better. She has nothing to do with mediocrity. I like the interaction between Luther and Alice. It's been great and I hope season 4 will be as good as the precedent seasons.

I would like a spin-off.
