She shouldn't be mad at anyone other than herself. Isn’t it odd that she’s angry, NOT because she did something bad (the lie) but that she got caught and called out? She literally brought this on herself? and has the nerve to pull the “et tu brute” line but how many times did she stab an ex in the back????
shareIt was confusing to me in the beginning, but once she started getting called out for being dishonest it was hard to tell what Taylor had an issue with. Its been a while so I might be a little fuzzy on the details, but I think there is still a lot of it online for you to see for yourself.share
1) She claimed that Kanye never contacted her at all about the song, but wanted her to feature it on her social media and she refused. This was the biggest lie of all, and once it was exposed that not only did she know about the song, Kanye called her personally for her to hear a sample and get her approval. Taylor even thanked him for being respectful and thought it was nice of him.
2) Then she did a grammy speech, making it clear that she had the issue with him claiming to have made her famous and taking credit for her success. Well that also was explained in the tapes. Taylor stated that she understood his point of view considering he didn't know who she was prior to the VMA's in 2009. Its clear based on the tapes she had no issue with him saying that he made her famous.....Then as that got exposed, that no longer was an issue and that it was really about the word "bitch".
3) She said she had no knowledge of him calling her a bitch, and felt he kept that out of the conversation and didn't reveal that part of the song with her. Now I could've seen her point, if she had stated this from the start and stuck with it. But it was clear, at least to me, that the more evidence exposing her as a liar was revealed the more her story seemed to change.
