I am still amazed that we have an FCC that can reprimand broadcast TV licenses and impose fines on entities that break decency laws, but a company that has mass media capabilities but is not labeled a mass media company can escape any form of punishment.
This isn't the first example either, as you can find naked people in sexually compromising videos on another Facebook owned platform Instagram, as well as Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok, etc.
I wonder if the Federal government decided to include all of them as media companies would this change the landscape?
