Ezra Miller now him ... Do they need to do background check before casting ?

I mean we had the Ezra miller train wreck already and now another one comes into the woodwork. A lot of people defend him but previous directors who worked with him and who had nothing to win in making claims did so as well, apparently the dude is infamous. Therefore it makes me wonder... Should actors have a background check now before getting high profile roles. The Flash promotion has been ruined because of Ezra Millar behavior and now looks like the promotion of upcoming Marvel projects would be affected as well... I feel bad for people who work real hard on a film only to have it's chances of succeeding damaged by lead actors erratic behavior.
