I’ve never heard it being used. That said Coon is also a name and if the Aboriginal's are too stupid to realise that than perhaps they are just seeking to be offended as per usual.
shareI don’t know, times change and I don’t think it hurts for companies to keep up with those changes and rebrand if the name is potentially offensive. I mean, does anyone really miss Gollywog biscuits?
I don’t think this is an issue of indigenous people being offended (although that would be understandable if every time you go shopping you see a dairy product with the same name as a derogatory term used to insult your people), I just think it’s about society maturing and realising that there are kinder ways to do things.
At the end of the day, that cheese is crap anyway!
